One important segment of the backpack marketplace is the college students. Pupil encompasses wide range of age which can span from high school to university. In the past, we all carry textbooks to school and I can still remember clearly how those textbooks can be reall heavy sometimes. But in all the tablet devices, the introduction of mobile computing and recent years, there's a classroom paradigm shift toward e learning. Among the shift is obviously towards e-textbooks instead of challenging printed books. On first idea, we may believe that this should be great news as there will be less books to take to pupils who've been having difficulty taking the load of their backpack. Things didn't turn out as what many students would have hoped for. The laptop and mobile computing devices are becoming more powerful and it is no longer an exception if you see students taking 17-inch laptop. Not every pupils can afford a Macbook although of course we understand Macbook Air can not be truly heavy and in fact a majority of them can not. So instead of finding a load decrease in their own backpacks, students are seeing increased load which naturally means that the best backpacks for college guys have to evolve and they are generally heavier (instead of lighter) as they need to offer basic laptop protection at the very least.
One rapidly growing backpack is one of the professionals. In large part, this is credited to the laptop becoming a mainstream computing station and mobility in the workplace. Take a great look at offices around you and I bet that with laptops being more than powerful to realize most daily routines for example handling spreadsheets, desktop PCs are being abandoned by organizations at an incredible pace. If you ask most professionals what they think of backpack, the response would differ if the question is asked yesterday as compared to today and previously, most would let you know that backpack does not seem cool and the sling or more elegant looking tote would be much preferred. However, if you need to travel regularly, I wager you'd only want to carry a backpack. This trend has immediately captured the attention of backpack manufacturers and they've been quick to address this marketplace. If you go through all the backpack evaluations, you will find that the best backpacks designed for professionals will have different set of criteria and requirements than those designed for college students where look is more important in this instance.
In conclusion, I steadfastly believe that extinction isn't something that's pertinent as it pertains to backpack. It is however, something which will always evolve in line with fashion trends and the lifestyle needs. I 'm certain no one has the certain response, if you ask what would the size of backpacks be in the future. It's a question that no one can quite call the solution at this point of time as it will largely be determined by the size of future computing devices. With the endless chatter of foldable and bendable display technology, it is quite likely that the size of notebooks may be shrink to half of its present size or possibly smaller. You know what the consequences this will bring to backpack sizes.
